Bathroom with Walk-in Shower, Chislehurst, south-east London

We created two rooms for a repeat customer in Chislehurst, south-east London: one a luxurious, innovative bathroom with a walk-in shower and gold tiling, the other a blue illuminated en-suite, also with a walk-in shower.

The gold room was originally two separate spaces. The dividing wall was removed to allow more space for a bespoke design. The enlarged layout accommodated a generously sized walk-in shower fitted at floor level and fed by an Aqualisa system, along with a freestanding bath with a sleek recessed overflow and filler, and wall-hung bathroom furniture in a walnut finish. A Keuco mirrored cabinet adds elegant, practical storage, while LED lighting – including a beautifully illuminated recessed alcove – gives the whole room a warm, luxurious glow. As with all our tiling, the alcove was set out to match the tile size exactly, avoiding any awkward cut edges.

The second room is an en-suite, which was already a good size. Rather than trying to fill the space, we removed the existing bath and replaced it with a walk-in shower. Striking Oasis glass feature tiles were fitted to the back wall and behind the matching Oasis vanity basin, set off with grey wall and floor tiles to complement them. LED lighting beneath the vanity unit completes the calm, contemporary feel.
