Bathroom with walk-in shower, Wateringbury, Kent

Here we have a luxurious bathroom for a customer in Wateringbury, Kent – a room packed with high-end features.

When we initially came to survey the work, the customer was quite specific about the boutique feel she wanted to achieve. With this in mind, Potts Ltd designed the room around a large walk-in shower, a luxurious freestanding bath, and striking black high-gloss vanity units by Oasis, an Italian brand that makes furniture specifically for the bathroom, so it's built to cope with the humidity and demands of the environment. The scheme was finished with gold-plated taps and fixtures and set off with a variety of gold and bronze tiles.

A curved wall was cleverly designed and constructed to add yet another feature to a room already full of them, breaking up the space and adding a degree of privacy to the bathing area.

A matching wall-mounted dressing table ties the look together, along with a bathroom-specific television for unwinding after a long, stressful day. Let's face it, when you're in a bath that big, you might as well enjoy it and catch up on your favourite programmes.

Installing rooms like this isn't 'the norm', but it was a pleasure transforming what was an empty room into a stunning bathroom that certainly has the wow factor.
